I have known Paul Vaden for over fifteen years. When you first meet Paul you realize he is a humble, modest and respectful man who is easy to talk with and who is as interested in learning about you, as you are in learning about him...I have yet to come across a person who knows Paul who doesn’t think as highly about him as I do.

When Paul addressed the major challenges that he overcame in his career and life, it really emphasized his resiliency which resonated with my athletes because we talk about that often.

Paul “The Ultimate” Vaden has been a True Champion in the fight against Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). Inspired by a friend’s child who lives with this life threatening disease, Mr. Vaden chose to Answer the Bell 15 years ago and become involved with JDRF. He brought and continues to bring unparalleled dedication and leadership to our organization culminating with his acceptance of the position of President of the JDRF Board of Directors in 2018. We are extremely grateful and honored to have this Champion leading the way in Creating a World Without T1D.
